COVID-19 Updates from International Student Services: September 2021:
The latest updates can be found on the Entering Canada page.
            1. International students with a valid study permit (or approval letter) can travel to Canada (McGill is on the list of DLIs with an approved COVID-19 readiness plan). Before making travel plans, please refer to our Entering Canada page.
            2. Fully vaccinated travellers authorized to enter Canada by land or by air, are now exempt from the federal requirement to undergo a 14-day quarantine. The 14-day quarantine continues to be required for all other travellers who are not considered fully vaccinated.

Has your mental health been impacted by the pandemic? Are you struggling with grief, anxiety, isolation, and/or distress related to COVID-19? You’re not alone. This online support circle is an opportunity to come together and share what you’ve been going through. Open to all McGill students, regardless of current location. Students in quarantine are welcome. Participants are invited to attend any or all sessions.

Know Your Rights as an International Student (Online)

The Legal Information Clinic at McGill (LICM) will introduce you to their three branches and the free services they offer: legal information, student advocacy and community services. In this webinar, you will also gain information on relevant aspects of tenancy and employment law in Quebec to prepare you in the event you ever wish to rent or work in Montreal. You will also learn about your rights as students, specifically those rights that relate to grievances and plagiarism.
