All PGWP applicants are now required to demonstrate a minimum language proficiency in French or English by providing proof of an accepted language test results, which for university graduates, is set at the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of level 7. You can upload your proof of language test results in the PGWP application under the Optional Documents - Client Information Form section.
  2. Flagpoling at Canada/US border: June 21, 2024 - Government of Canada announced that international students can no longer apply for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) at the border, effective immediately.
