If you are a US citizen or a US permanent resident (Green Card Holder) and you have received your CAQ, you can apply for your study permit online or in person at a Canadian Port of Entry (airport or land border) upon entry to Canada.
If you wish to apply for your study permit in person at a POE, you are not required to complete and present any immigration forms, but you must travel with the supporting documents below:
You must pay:
Before you leave your Port of Entry, verify that your name, date of birth, and gender are all correct on your document and that you have "on-campus and off-campus" work provisions under the “Remarks” section at the bottom.
After you arrive in Canada, send copies of your CAQ and study permit to McGill’s Legal Documents.
