Nosce Te Ipsum

display case with skeleton
ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Fourteen former fire stations in the Strathcona Anatomy & Dentistry Building on the McGill University downtown campus have been repurposed to showcase:
a) Classical anatomical folio/textbook illustrations
b) Corresponding skeletal remains
c) Ways of human remain disposition and associated environmental issues (QR codes)

The overriding theme of the displays is the Delphic aphorism “Nosce Te Ipsum” (“know thyself”), oft-quoted in Renaissance texts of anatomy.
