Greetings from Montreal:
MAMM Hospital Postcard Collection

The Maude Abbott Medical Museum has a collection of postcards that focus on Montreal hospitals from the 1880s to the 1960s.

In addition to providing "snapshots" that illustrate the history and architecture of these hospitals, the collection provides information about the evolution of postcard production and the social history of Montreal.

The cards provide a unique view of history through the eyes of those who sent news to friends and family by way of the postal system, before the age of mobile telephones and email.
