**Students admitted to the program as of Fall 2024 are required to complete 42 credits. Students admitted prior to Fall 2024 are required to complete 39 credits. However, the degree requirement remains 120 credits for ALL students.
* Economics
New students considering the Major Program in Economics:
- replace MGCR 293 with ECON 230D1/ECON 230D2.
- replace MGCR 294 with ECON 332 (3 credits) and ECON 333 (3 credits) (taken in the second year)
For students who take MGCR 293 and/or MGCR 294 (ECON 295) before declaring a Major in Economics:
- 9 credits will be permitted within the BCom program for MGCR 293 and ECON 230D1/ECON 230D2
- 9 credits will be permitted within the BCom program for MGCR 294 (ECON 295) and ECON 332/ECON 333
Minor Concentration in Economics:
Students who declare a Minor Concentration in Economics and who took MGCR 293 for the Core requirement, may take ECON 230D1/ECON 230D2 toward the minor.
