Change the face of healthcare with advanced leadership skills

How to Apply

Our next cohort will begin in November 2025.
Admissions are open. Deadline to apply: October 1.

The International Masters for Health Leadership is a graduate program for professionals currently working in the health sector.
Please don’t submit your CV unless you are working in health care.

Admission Requirements

  • You are a healthcare professional, with work experience in the health sector
  • You hold an undergraduate or graduate degree, or a diploma in a healthcare field with work experience.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Step 1 - Submit Your CV

  • Complete the Personal Information Form and upload your Curriculum Vitae.
  • The IMHL Office will review your eligibility and contact you through email within a few days (see Step 2)

Step 2 - Submit Your Application

  • Our office will send you step-by-step application instructions by email.
  • Submit application and pay the non-refundable application fee by credit card.

  • TRANSCRIPTS: Under Education History please list only one (1) degree on your application (we have all others on the resumé you provided) and upload only the one degree-level transcript. The transcript must include courses and grades for each year attended. This will allow us to process your application faster. Any supporting documentation must be uploaded directly to the Slate admission system as a PDF document. Read instructions on how to upload supporting documents. Note: Transcripts in languages other than English or French must be accompanied by a translation.

  • Once you complete your application, you will receive your McGill ID number and we can act on your application.

Application deadline: October 1, 2025.

After Applying: Offer of Admission

  • Once an applicant is ready to confirm, they must accept the offer on Slate and pay a non-refundable deposit of CAD $5,000.00 by credit card to reserve their spot in the program. This amount will be credited in its entirety toward the first tuition payment.
  • Since English Proficiency Tests (TOEFL and IELTS) are NOT required, your English language abilities may be verified during an admission interview. We will contact you only if necessary.
  • Given our program includes an in-Canada portion, international students must obtain a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) approval and a study permit for the duration of the in-Canada modules only. The program office will will give further instructions about this during the program.

Note: Funding must be established before the start of the program. Please inform our office if a third-party sponsor will be providing you with financial support.
