Application process

Information sessions with more information on how to apply for the program will be held mid-September, while interviews and final decision are made during October. Please make every effort to attend one of these sessions to learn more about the program and about how to prepare a quality application package.

Application Package

A complete application package consists of one complete .pdf file, as follows:

  1. Current CV
  2. Short essay responses to the following questions:
  • What is your preferred focus area, as outlined in this presentation and why? What would your alternative focus areas be and why?
  • What specific skills, experience and/or capabilities do you feel would be directly transferable to the program and the specific opportunity area being pursued?
  • What do you hope to accomplish by participating in the program?
  • Given that the workload associated with MNFPC is equivalent to that of a course plus a major extracurricular, what are your other commitments for the school year and how would MNFPC fit into these?

Kindly limit your responses to maximum 400 words for the 4 questions combined.

Please attach your first your CV and then the Essay questions in one .pdf file in the format “SmithJane.pdf”

Focus areas are:

  • Local Industry
  • Culture and Art
  • Community
  • Environment
  • Health

Completed applications should be sent to mnfpc [at] no later than the deadline.

Applications are due by Thursday, October 8th at 9:00 am. No exceptions!
