MMA students lend helping hand to SMEs during pandemic

Each SME will receive the support of one to three students who will offer up to 100 hours of consulting free of charge. A team of Desautels students and alumni has reached the semifinal round of impact200, McGill’s Bicentennial Sustainability Challenge for students and recent alumni. Only two years since the program launched in 2018, the Master of Management (MMA) program at McGill University has carved a spot in the top 10 business analytics programs in the world and taken the top spot in Canada.

Released today, the QS World University Rankings places the McGill MMA 10th in the QS Masters in Business Analytics Rankings 2021.

MMA students support Montreal Children’s Hospital during pandemic

Students from the McGill Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) program recently teamed up with the Montreal Children’s Hospital to analyze telehealth services and plan personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies. As part of the program’s MMA Gives initiative, Omar Chehab, Katia Sory, Victoria McKeown and Kyle Gomes (MMA’20) gained meaningful experience helping the hospital plan and adapt to their new reality brought on by COVID-19.

Welcoming our new cohort of MMA students

On Friday July 31, the Desautels Faculty of Management welcomed a new cohort of 52 Masters of Management in Analytics (MMA) students, selected from among 608 applicants. The incoming cohort hails from 17 nations across the world. Their academic background is equally diverse, with students holding degrees in engineering, business, computer science, economics, science and mathematics.
