To enrich students’ first-hand knowledge about the relationships between environment and manufacturing, on July 17, 2020, Professor SHOU, Yong Yi, while teaching his course of Manufacturing Environment, one of the courses in GMSCM program, organized a plant tour to Hozon Auto company that produces electricity cars with the brand name of Neza U. On July 18, 2020, Professor Shou took GMSCM students to visit another company named Southern Cement Company Limited that is ranked #2 in the production volume of cement in China. Southern Cement Company Limited is a state-owned company and was listed in HK in 2007 with its operating head quarter in Hangzhou. The Chinese description of the plant tour is described online.
