McGill International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC)

The McGill International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC) is the pioneer of buy-side finance case competitions that target pension funds, innovative portfolio design, and institutional asset management.

The sixth edition of the McGill International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC), under the guidance of Professor Sebastien Betermier focuses on how long-term asset managers can find ways to sustainably generate returns while transitioning their portfolios to net-zero by 2050. We will focus on pension reform in Australia and study the portfolio design of a fictional plan that is decarbonizing their investments.
