In preparing the ranking, the two companies reviewed independent inventors and companies in startup phase in search of inventions that focused on innovation and met a notable need. The criteria also requires that the winners have realistic commercial potential with considerable benefits to consumers.
Founder Farshad Mirshafiei created Sensequake with the mission to improve structures across the world through flexible vibration and structural health monitoring solutions. Their mission is to extend the life of structures and avoid extensive damage and save lives during natural disasters such as earthquakes.
