MBA Next 50

Thank You to the MBA Next 50 Campaign Donors

Whether you have named a locker or new classroom, created a new MBA student award, or given a gift to the Desautels Fund, your generosity is paving the way for the next 50 years of our MBA program. Our project was on time and on budget. Our MBA students moved into the Donald E. Armstrong Building in January 2018. The Armstrong Building represents 48,000 square feet of new space for our students, boosting the Faculty's footprint by almost 20%.

On May 25-26, 2018, we celebrated the grand opening of the Donald E. Armstrong Building. The Desautels community came together for an amazing achievement with a building & suite of awards that match our ambitions & accomplishments as a Faculty.

Our Future Honours Our History

Professor Don Armstrong, PhD’54 (1925-2011), contributed greatly to the University as a teacher, mentor, and leader and is remembered fondly by all who benefited from his wisdom.

As founding Director of the Graduate School of Business, he launched McGill’s MBA program in 1963. Professor Armstrong insisted that our MBA be interdisciplinary from day one and that its teachers include both talented academics and seasoned business professionals.

Donors also created 34 new MBA awards for the MBA Program and named more than 140 MBA Lockers. On May 25th and 26th, hundreds of donors and alumni gathered to celebrate this success. Now Desautels has a building and suite of awards that match our ambitions and accomplishments as a Faculty.
