The Global Leaders Institute empowers arts professionals to scale creative enterprises that foster lasting community impact.

Each year, a select global cohort of accomplished cultural managers, arts entrepreneurs, and creative executives embarks on a transformative 12-month Global Arts MBA journey focused on social entrepreneurship, cultural management, and sustainable innovation. Co-curated by prestigious institutes at McGill University, Harvard, Georgetown, Stanford, and Oxford, the program is led by a world-class faculty of Nobel Laureates and Grammy winners. Spanning 40+ nations, the GLI connects industry executives, curators, and career artists with an elite toolkit designed to accelerate career growth and drive global change.

Global Leaders Institute applications for McGill are due annually on April 1

Key program information

  • As a result of an institutional agreement between McGill University and the Global Leaders Institute, graduate music students can obtain three credits towards their degree at McGill University as a result of their participation. The agreement provides full scholarships that removes all tuition costs for the no-degree option at the GLI, and provides coverage of all expenses on the ground during the Innovation Summit.
  • Schulich School of Music scholarship winners are to apply to Graduate Studies for a travel award to offset the flight costs for the Innovation Summit.
