Faculty Council

Purpose

The Faculty Council of the Schulich School of Music shall be advisory to the Dean.
The Faculty Council provides a collegial setting for discussion of the governance, strategic direction and general management of the Faculty, and advises or makes decisions on matters concerning the academic work of the Faculty in teaching, research and service.

Composition

Voting members:

The Faculty Council is comprised of Academic staff, including all professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and other ranked contract academic staff; The Head Music Librarian; Student representatives ( President, Vice-President (Academic) , Music Undergraduate Students’ Association (MUSA) Music Senator; Two representatives appointed by the Music Graduate Students’ Society (MGSS) Executive Council; One Postdoctoral representative of the Faculty.
