The McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship is the hub of entrepreneurial activity at McGill University. Our mission is to find, teach, and develop world-class entrepreneurs at McGill. We support our students, faculty, and alumni through tailored education, applied entrepreneurial frameworks, and iterative mentorship.
Through our entrepreneurship programs: the McGill Lean Startup program, McGill Dobson Cup annual startup competition, and the McGill X-1 Accelerator summer program, alongside all of our student-led events and workshops, and mentorship programs focused on entrepreneurship, we are building a thriving ecosystem of entrepreneurial resources for the entire McGill community.
In addition, we also integrate professorial entrepreneurship teaching and research at the Desautels Faculty of Management with entrepreneurial practice through these extracurricular activities, in order to foster the entrepreneurial skills required to launch innovative ventures with a purpose.
