The McGill Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management (GCHM) is designed for healthcare professionals seeking to acquire managerial skills to enhance their careers and step into leadership roles, either presently or in the future.

Our next cohort will begin in January 2027 (Winter 2027 term). 

Admissions is on a rolling basis.

Admission Requirements

  • Healthcare professional, with relevant work experience in the health sector.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree, or in some cases a postsecondary diploma.
  • Ability to attend the mandatory online sessions while maintaining your work schedule. 

How to Apply

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Step 1 - Complete the Personal Information Form

  • Fill out the Personal Information Form.
  • Our admissions team will review your eligibility.
  • You'll receive an email within a few days with the next steps.

Step 2 - Submit Your Application 

  • Following the step-by-step email instructions, complete the official application through the McGill applicant portal.
  • Submit the application and pay the non-refundable application fee online by credit card.  
  • Upload the unofficial transcripts and proof of graduation (in PDF). Note: Transcripts in languages other than English or French must be accompanied by a translation.

After Applying:

  • To accept the admission offer through the applicant portal, applicants must submit a $3,000 non-refundable deposit by credit card.  This deposit secures a place in the program and will be applied toward the first tuition payment.
  • English Proficiency Test (TOEFL and IELTS) is not required.  English language ability may be assessed during an admission interview, if necessary.
  • International applicants do NOT require a Study Permit for the GCHM Program as the program is delivered online.
      

Note: Funding must be established before the start of the program. Please inform our office if a third-party sponsor will be providing you with financial support.
