Desautels alumna takes world of children’s toys by storm

Montreal native Sydney Wiseman (BCom’11) has risen to the helm of children’s toy products through her successful venture, Fingerlings.

Named children’s toy of the year a few months ago, Fingerlings has flown off the shelves of retailers around the world, selling more than 100,000 products in its first week in the U.S. market.

Wiseman sits down with La Presse to chat about her recipe for success and product inspiration.

Apply now: EMBA scholarship for indigenous managers

For the past two years, the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA has been awarding a $ 50,000 scholarship to a manager of indigenous origin to cover part of the program’s tuition fees.
