2013 McGill Summer Organ Academy - 9th edition - Marie-Claire AlainWe are dedicating the 2013 concerts of the McGill Summer Organ Academy to the memory of Marie-Claire Alain (1926-2013).  In 1981, Marie-Claire played one of the inaugural recitals of the University Organ in Redpath Hall as this was the first copy of a French classical organ in North America.  At the Fall Convocation in 2001, McGill awarded a Doctor of Music, honoris causa to Marie-Claire Alain.
