Biography:

Viviane Sziklas’ research focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying various forms of learning and memory. The goal of her research program is to examine the nature and specificity of behavioural impairment after damage to different components of the medial temporal lobe system in patients with focal epilepsy. Additional research involves studies of non-memory processes in patients with focal epilepsy, and test development for assessment of cognitive function in various clinical neurological populations.
