Recruiting, Training and Retaining Highly-Skilled Professionals
The Neuro’s unique environment allows it to recruit exceptional faculty members from all over the world. These scientists and clinicians come to the MNI with advanced training that further strengthens the reputation of Quebec as a destination for highly skilled workers. In the past 20 years, The Neuro has recruited more than 40 outstanding researchers and clinicians. They have set up labs and clinical practices, trained new generations of scientists and physicians that have gone on to other academic institutions or industry.  Together these recruits have brought in tens of millions of dollars in funding and created vast networks of collaboration around the world. Since 1934, The Neuro has trained more than 500 researchers, neurologists, neurosurgeons and neuroscience nurses.

Almost 1,000 dedicated and talented people work at The Neuro, advancing our mission to gain new understanding of the nervous system and to provide the best patient care. These people are physicians, research scientists, professors, post-doctoral and clinical fellows, as well as nurses, psychologists, health professionals such as physio-, occupational and respiration therapists, managers and administrators, and clerical, technical and auxiliary staff.

Full and part-time jobs at the MNI are coordinated by McGill University and the McGill University Health Centre.
