Housed in a beautiful historic building in McGill’s lower campus, Redpath Hall plays host to many of our annual ensemble and solo performances. It is a room that combines history with acoustical brilliance, ideally suited for chamber music. The hall boasts a beautiful pipe organ installed in 1981, built by Hellmuth Wolff in the French Classical style.
It’s a welcome destination for a musical escape, whether walking through falling leaves, softly falling snow, or spring evenings, it’s a magical part of the Schulich School of Music.
Accessible Entrance
Special arrangements for those with limited mobility and/or wheelchairs must be made in advance as the North Entrance has 2 sets of stairs.
FOR ALL CONCERTS: One hour before the event, a security guard will be posted at Service Point (indicated on map) to escort guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility through the library and into Redpath Hall where they will be met by an usher. At the end of the concert the security guard will escort them back through the building to Service Point to exit on McTavish Street.
