Pollack Hall

Pollack Hall, named for Maurice Pollack and supported by the Pollack Foundation, presents 400 concerts annually and plays host to all of our large ensemble performances.  From Opera and Jazz, to our McGill Symphony Orchestra, and the new McGill Sinfonietta, the performances at this stunning venue showcase young and exciting talent, bringing fresh interpretations to a broad selection of repertoire from traditional to ultra modern. An exquisite room in a historic building brings intimacy and warmth to soaring voices and inspired music.

555A, Sherbrooke St. West, 30 metres east of the main entrance. Once inside, please follow signs to Pollack Hall via the elevator to the second floor.


As of May 28, 2010, parking availability was substantially reduced, vehicular circulation limited and deliveries to several buildings restricted to 7:00 am - 11:00 am., Monday to Friday, on McGill’s Downtown Lower Campus and in the pedestrian zone of McTavish Street. The plans have been designed to ensure parking and transportation services for persons with disabilities continue to be available and accessible. The University will be evaluating traffic and pedestrian circulation over the summer, collecting feedback and implementing permanent solutions in the early fall.
