The Music Library occupies three floors in the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building and offers students a variety of different spaces, from silent study zones to collaborative work areas. The Library’s knowledgeable staff offer assistance with locating performance and research materials as well as music reference and information literacy services. Music students can borrow an extensive range of audiovisual equipment at the 4th-floor AV Hub, from recording devices to laptops with specialized music software. The Gertrude Whitley Performance Library, located on the 5th floor, provides ensemble materials in support of performance and pedagogy at the Schulich School of Music.

Special collections, including manuscripts, textual documents, and ephemera are housed in the Rare Books and Special Collections Room. The Audiovisual Archives contain collections in a variety of audio and video formats, from cylinders to digital assets.
