From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

2019 Osler Essay Finalists

The final results, based upon both the essay and the Osler Day presentation, were as follows:

First place: Brendan Ross. Illustrating the Unimaginable: Dissection Scrolls of Edo-era Japan.  Reflective piece by Brendan Ross. 

Second place: Athena Ko. The enduring impact of 20th century medical illustration on 21st century medical learning.  Reflective piece by Athena Ko. 

Third place: Leïla Rached-d’Astous. A Modernist’s Sin: An Architectural Interpretation of the Bibliotheca Olseriana in the McIntyre Medical Sciences Building.  Reflective piece by Leïla Rached-d'Astous.
