Remote Workshop #4 – Foundations of IP and Patent Searching
This workshop will demystify and explain the various form of intellectual property (IP), namely, patents, industrial designs, copyright, trademarks, and trade secrets. We will then do some actual patent searching with our librarian April Colosimo using the DERWENT worldwide patent database.
This workshop provides participants with the knowledge, skills and strategies to better prevent or handle conflict constructively. By gaining an understanding of what conflict is and how it emerges, participants will begin to understand the costs and benefits of conflict in organizations.
Participants will leave with an action plan for applying conflict resolution processes within their organization.
