Digitisation vs. textbooks: the debate continues
The general trend among MBA programs worldwide points to a rise in digitised course readings, as opposed to the use of bulky textbooks.
The digital distribution of course materials has not, however, been favored by business students everywhere.
As mentioned by Steve Fortin, Associate Dean of Masters Programs, the Desautels Faculty of Management received mixed reviews from students upon introducing a new policy to replace textbooks with electronic versions, which led them to forego such changes altogether.
