An agreement between the French Community of Belgium and Quebec government allows francophone Belgian students registered full-time in a program to be exempted from the international tuition fee supplement.
Documents required:
a) Francophone community Belgians without Canadian legal status:
- Valid Belgian passport
- Study permit
- CAQ
- Front and back sides of the
Carte d'identité belge francophone valide (with "Belgique" written in French, listed first at the top left) OR the certificat d’enseignement secondaire supérieur (CESS) OR
the diplôme de baccalauréat ou de maîtrise délivré par un établissement de l’enseignement obligatoire ou supérieur organisé ou subventionné par la Communauté française de Belgique.

b) Francophone community Belgians with Canadian legal status:
- Items 1 and 4 above
- Proof of Canadian status. Please refer to the instructions for Canadians.
Fee rates (students without Canadian legal status):
- Undergraduate program students will be charged the Canadian rate of tuition.
- Graduate program students, including students in a Qualifying year, will be charged the Quebec rate of tuition.
