From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. French Community of Belgium

Effective as of the Fall 2018 term, an agreement between the French Community of Belgium and Quebec government allows francophone Belgian students to be exempted from the international tuition fee supplement.

Fee rates:

  • Undergraduate program students are eligible to be charged at the Canadian rate of tuition (students admitted as of the Fall 2024 term will continue to pay the Canadian rate of tuition which was in effect during the 2023-24 academic year, subject to annual indexation increases).
  • Graduate program students, including students in a Qualifying year, are eligible to be charged at the Quebec rate of tuition
  • All Special and Visiting students are eligible to be charged at the Canadian rate of tuition (students admitted as of the Fall 2024 term will continue to pay the Canadian rate of tuition which was in effect during the 2023-24 academic year, subject to annual indexation increases).

 

Documents required:

a) Francophone community Belgians without Canadian legal status:

  1. Valid Belgian passport
  2. Study permit
  3. CAQ
  4. Front and back sides of the PDF icon Carte d'identité belge francophone valide (with "Belgique" written in French, listed first at the top left) OR the certificat d’enseignement secondaire supérieur (CESS) OR
    the diplôme de baccalauréat ou de maîtrise délivré par un établissement de l’enseignement obligatoire ou supérieur organisé ou subventionné par la Communauté française de Belgique.
