McGill Desautels graduate Avneet Bhabra (BCom’23)’s research paper “23% and Counting, but Not ‘One Size Fits All’: Helping Canada’s Immigrants Strengthen Their Financial Knowledge” has been published by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) on Canada.ca. Focusing on financial literacy amongst immigrants in Canada, the paper was selected as a finalist in the undergraduate category of the FCAC’s 2023 Building Better Financial Futures Challenge.

McGill Desautels students among EDC 2023 Scholarship Recipients
Export Development Canada (EDC) has unveiled the recipients of its 2023 Youth Education Program scholarships, awarding $135,000 to 27 post-secondary students who excel academically and exhibit a dedication to community service. Among the recipients are two Bachelor of Commerce students from McGill University, Jennifer Shi and Quynh Huynh, who received the prestigious International Business Scholarship.
