PROF. KARL MOORE CALLS ON NORTEL CEO MIKE ZAFIROVSKI TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE

With Nortel Networks Corp. in bankruptcy protection and its future uncertain, some observers say it's time for CEO Mike Zafirovski to fall on his sword when it comes to hefty executive compensation packages and perks such as use of the corporate jet... "I think that the right thing to do is step up to the plate and take a significant cut in compensation," said Karl Moore, a business professor at McGill University. "He's already a rich man with more money than he can spend. It's now a question of leadership."
