MMF students win Deloitte case challenge

Congratulations to MMF students: Maud de Witte, Jean-Baptiste Foult, Pierre-Louis Patault, and Celec Soriano-Francis who won the Deloitte M&A Synergies Case Challenge.

The challenge was designed in part to help students understand how consultants estimate potential savings as a result of a merger of equals or acquisition, as well as how to provide relevant analysis on synergy targets (revenue, cost, dis-synergies).

Their winning proposal estimated potential synergies using a combination of their analysis and precedent transaction benchmark, which they then compared with what was announced in the press.
