MMF students win CFA Institute’s Research Challenge

Five Master of Management in Finance (MMF) students are off to the regional round of CFA Institute’s Research Challenge, an annual global competition that provides students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Facing stiff competition from HEC Montreal and Concordia University, Zirui (Bruce) Chen, Huiru (Audrey) Wu, Neil Wiacek, Chen (Andy) Yu and Haiwen Luo formed the team that came out on top. Under the guidance of faculty mentor Professor Vadim di Pietro and industry advisor David Caron, the McGill team will compete in a virtual sub-regional round this month.
