'GEITHNER PLAN HAS REAL PROMISE'
U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's plan to clean risky assets off the books of U.S. banks poured fuel on the renewal of investor confidence - perhaps a little too much fuel in the opinion of some analysts... Finance professor Mo Chaudhury at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management believes the new plan has found a reasonable solution to the vexed question of pricing toxic assets.
