Desautels HR Case Team places 1st at Inter-Collegiate Business Competition 2013

Published: 11 January 2013

A Desautels BCom team composed of Jacqueline Crapper and Wenxi (Kathy) Kang placed 1st in the Human Resources case competition at the 35th annual Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) hosted by Queen’s University from January 3 to 5, 2013.

In October 2012, the team participated in a written case competition, finishing top six. These six teams were invited to Queen's University where they had 5.5 hours to analyze a new case that was then presented to a panel of representatives of the business community. Congratulations to both Jacqueline and Kathy for this great achievement!

Special thanks go to Professor Richard Donovan, who helped coach and accompanied the team to Queen's.

The Inter-Collegiate Business Competition is Canada's oldest and largest undergraduate business case competition. Hosted annually by Queen's University students, the ICBC attracts business students from across the nation and beyond. The ICBC is an ideal opportunity for students, faculty and prominent members of the business community to interact, network and exchange ideas and experiences.
