CIREQ-SGI lecture on the economics of the environment (second edition)
The CIREQ-SGI lecture on economics of the environment is an annual lecture introduced by CIREQ and the Sustainable Growth Initiative (SGI) at McGill. Each lecture will feature a leading scholar in the field, who will give an original overview of recent developments and debates in research on Economics of the Environment. Lectures will address topics such as Climate change and economic tools to address it, the fiscal costs of climate change, environmental impacts of trade, the energy transition, floods and insurance, among others.
For this second edition, we are pleased to welcome Professor Ryan Kellogg, who will deliver a lecture titled Clean Energy Subsidies, Clean Technology Policies, and the Green Transition.
