Biography: 

Yang Zhou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University and a Principal Investigator of the Montreal Neurological Institute.

He obtained his Ph.D. from the Institute of Neuroscience, CAS in 2008. He joined The Neuro in 2019 after completed his post-doctoral training and scientist position at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At The Neuro, Dr. Zhou is leading a research group intending to reveal the neurobiological mechanisms underlie developmental brain disorders and search for therapeutic clues with interdisciplinary approaches.

His work is funded by The Azrieli Foundation and Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives (HBHL)
