Pedro Rosa, MD, PhD
Pedro Rosa-Neto, MD, PhD, is a Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry at McGill University. He is a member of the Neuroimaging and Neuroinformatics research group and the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre at The Neuro.
Dr. Rosa-Neto is interested in the structural changes that occur in the brain as a result of neurodegenerative disease, such as Alzheimer’s disease. His research focuses on translational neuroimaging and biomarkers in patients. The goal is to develop novel Positron Emission Tomography imaging of the glymphatic system and 7T MRI technologies to quantify the dynamics underlying brain protein aggregation in living individuals, as well as to deliver novel imaging methods for dementia and open novel therapy opportunities to treat Alzheimer’s disease.
