Daria Trojan, MD
Dr. Daria Trojan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University and Professeure associée of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. Dr. Trojan is a physiatrist at the Montreal Neurological Hospital (MNH), Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital, and Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre. Dr. Trojan specializes in post-polio syndrome and other neuromuscular diseases and disorders. She coordinates the Post-polio Clinic at the MNH and Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre. She is a clinical researcher in the area of post-polio syndrome and sleep abnormalities in multiple sclerosis.
Dr. Trojan obtained her B.A. (Chemistry) from Swarthmore College, PA in 1980 and her M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1984. Dr. Trojan conducted her postgraduate residency training at Columbia –Presbyterian Medical Center (Columbia University), University Hospital (Boston University) and Montreal General Hospital (McGill University). Dr. Trojan completed a M.Sc. (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) at McGill University (1993).
Dr. Trojan has won awards and honours including a Fellowship and Clinical Research Scholarships from the Fonds de la recherche en Santé du Québec.
