Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell (hiPSC) Training Course (Virtual)

The Neuro, in collaboration with STEMCELL Technologies, will offer a comprehensive 3-day virtual workshop on deriving and maintaining high-quality human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) from somatic cells. Topics covered include:

• Reprogramming
• Routine Maintenance
• Quality Control
• Differentiation to Neuronal Progenitor Cells
• CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing

The course will discuss and demonstrate important aspects of these workflows and participants will receive online lectures and virtual lab sessions demonstrating the techniques. The workshop will be facilitated by the trainers from the Neuro and STEMCELL Technologies.

The registration fee will be waived for McGill students and trainees and is $200 for all non-McGill students and trainees (payable once accepted to the course).

Maximum participants: 15 (Registration does not guarantee acceptance).
