Benoit Goulet, MD
Dr. Benoit Goulet, a neurosurgeon with expertise in spinal surgery, joined the Montreal Neurological Institute in 2001 and is an Assistant Professor in McGill University’s Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is also currently the Director of the Spine and Peripheral Nerve Program at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital.
Dr. Goulet received his Medical Degree (1989), conducted his general surgery training (1991) and his neurosurgery residency (1995) at the University of Laval. He has held fellowships in general neurosurgery and spinal surgery in Massachusetts and Toronto, respectively. Dr. Goulet passed the American Board of Neurological Surgeons exam (ABNS) in 2006.
Dr. Goulet is frequently invited as a lecturer and instructor at international symposiums. He is involved as an investigator for numerous clinical trials for CIHR, Bayer, Novartis, and Cerapedics.
