Louise Tyvaert

young woman with a turquoise colored necklace is smiling. Round cheeks, brown hair.

Louise Tyvaert conducted her MD studies in University of Lille (France) and she obtained the qualification of neurologist in 2006. She was particularly interested in high-resolution EEG recordings and analysis of electrocortical rhythms (during a motor task, and during sleep and awake, in dystonia and in restless legs syndrome). For her neurosciences Master, she studied the process of sensorimotor integration in dystonia using transcranial magnetic stimulation and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation.

Louise Tyvaert was working at MNI as a postdoctoral fellow supported by the International Rotary Scholarship. Her interest was the analysis of relationship between interictal spikes and fMRI activation (EEG-fMRI recording). She is back to Lille now.
