Nicolás von Ellenrieder received the Graduate degree in electronics engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National University of La Plata, Argentina, in 1998 and 2005 respectively. His research interests include digital and statistical signal processing in biomedical applications, optimization, modeling, and numerical methods.
He visited the MNI in 2010 and 2013-15 as an Assistant Professor at the National University of La Plata, Argentina, and researcher at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), Argentina.
Since January 2016 he is a Research Associate at the EEG, Imaging, and Epilepsy lab, where he is working in high frequency oscillations, interaction between sleep and epilepsy, EEG-fMRI data processing, and numerical modeling of human electrophysiology.
