Brian received the BSc degree (2010) in Technical Medicine at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
In June 2012 he started a four-month research Internship at Dr. Jean Gotman’s lab in the Montreal Neurological Institute.
His project focussed on the prediction of partial epileptic seizures, by this assisting into the project of Kais Gadhoumi. He investigated the time characteristics of the intracerebral EEG of patients where seizure could be predicted.
Brian is now working on his Master thesis project at the University Medical Centre Utrecht, The Netherlands. His project is concerned with Single Pulse Electrical Stimulation (SPES) for the delineation of the epileptogenic zone.
He will finish the project October 2013.
