Strengthening our culture and community
Desautels’ newly launched Code of Ethics reflects our shared commitment to integrity, respect, and accountability, offering clear guidance for professional behaviour and decision-making across our community. More than a set of principles, it reinforces a culture of trust and responsibility, helping students, faculty, and staff navigate ethical challenges with confidence and make a positive impact on business and society. We extend our thanks to Professors Lindsay Holmgren and Brian Rubineau for their leadership and contributions to this important initiative.
We similarly thank Professor Sergei Sarkissian for launching a new PhD Buddy System designed to enhance the doctoral student experience and strengthen connections across our PhD community. New students will be paired with experienced peers who can offer guidance, answer questions, and help them navigate life at McGill.
Supporting Indigenous relations and learning
We are grateful to alumna Moira Hudgin (MBA’80) for her generous support of Indigenous engagement and learning. Her recent donation is helping the Faculty pursue Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR), a nationally recognized framework for advancing action and continuous improvement in Indigenous relations. Hudgin has also gifted a collection of Indigenous masks, now on display on the 5th floor of the Bronfman Building. The installation supports student research and learning while making Indigenous art and culture more accessible to the broader community. We encourage everyone to visit this unique display.
