Biography: 

In 2024, Rebecca joined McKinsey & Company where she worked as a consultant early in her career, now serving as Senior Advisor. Before her return to McKinsey and Company, Rebecca was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Microsoft Healthcare. Prior to this, Rebecca joined Optum as SVP Optum Health in 2018, starting with a leadership role in driving a range of strategic initiatives, then became CEO of Optum Behavioral Health in 2020. Prior to Optum, Rebecca served as Executive Vice President and President of Liberty Mutual Benefits where she led a multi-billion-dollar division focused on voluntary benefits which was successfully sold in Q2-2018 at market-leading valuation. Before joining Liberty Mutual, Rebecca worked for State Street Corporation as senior vice president, Asset Servicing for corporations, nonprofits and mid-market employers. She also held leadership roles in Enterprise Risk Management and Electronic Trading.

She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a record of profitably growing businesses across group benefits, retirement and financial technology. She has held leadership roles at large, regulated institutions, such as Thomson Financial and McKinsey and Company.

Rebecca has lived and worked across Europe and North America. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, a Masters of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Rebecca currently lives in the Boston area with her husband and two children. Rebecca serves on several nonprofit boards, including Jumpstart and the McGill University Desautels Investment Management Expert Panel.
