Biography: 

Renée Yardley is a senior commercial executive with more than 30 years of experience leading strategy, sales, and marketing across North American and global markets. She has held C‑suite and senior vice‑president roles in sustainability‑focused and innovation‑driven organizations, including Sustana Group and PRT Growing Services, where she oversaw major commercial portfolios and guided enterprise transformation, market development, and brand repositioning initiatives. Her earlier leadership roles at Tembec Inc.,The Hockey Company, and General Motors reflect a career grounded in operational breadth, financial discipline, and strategic execution.

Her work spans sustainable materials, forestry, manufacturing, telecommunications, consumer goods, and sports apparel, giving her a broad perspective on markets, governance, and organizational performance. Recognized for her ability to drive growth, strengthen customer and stakeholder engagement, and lead organizations through periods of transition, Renée is widely recognized for her thought leadership in sustainability, circular economy practices, and the future of the pulp and paper industry. She has been featured in multiple sector publications and frequently shares insights on environmental stewardship, corporate responsibility and the evolution of sustainable supply chains.

Beyond her corporate leadership, Renée is actively engaged in the Montréal community. She previously served as President of Literacy Partners of Quebec and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation. She is also a committed mentor to McGill MBA students, continuing her longstanding connection to the University and its next generation of leaders through mentorship, philanthropic support and volunteering at case competitions. She holds an MBA and Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Master of Liberal Arts in General Management from the Extension School of Harvard University.
