My research lies at the intersection of organization theory and public administration. I study how the design of organizations and work shape the behaviour of public sector workers, and how these behaviours, in turn, influence social outcomes. I am particularly interested in the individual and collective behaviour of frontline workers in low-resource settings, where chronic shortages of qualified personnel and public funds create distinctive management challenges that demand innovative organizational solutions. Through my work, I aim to inform and test organizational solutions to strengthen public service delivery, advancing our theoretical understanding of public management, while also generating practical insights for improving policy implementation.
