Jerome Guidollet
BCom’95
Jerome has been focusing on growing Internet companies since 1998. Jerome started his career working as a consultant to help companies in the hotel and travel industry create or enhance their presence on the web.
Driven by the growth potential in the online travel space, he went to work for travel e-commerce player Accovia (Logibro at the time), a pioneer in travel packaging and reservation systems. In 2000, at Netgroup, he then took on the mandate to launch Airlines.ca, an online travel agency who became one of the top players in Canada before falling victim to the crisis in 2002.
He moved on to Air Canada and as Manager of Relationship Building and Innovation, played a key role in developing products and substantially growing revenues for the Air Canada group of websites and the Destina.ca online travel agency start-up.
In 2004, seeing a potential in the online travel marketing space, Jerome co-founded Travelalerts.ca, a website that 5 years later became Canada's largest travel deals publisher with over 1 million members. Travelalerts.ca was sold to TorStar in 2010.
In 2010, Jerome co-founded Tuango.ca, today's largest daily deals website in Quebec.
Jerome holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMHI - Cornell University / ESSEC Business School.
