Apply for Big Wave (Over $100,000) Funding

The Sustainability Projects Fund’s Big Wave typically funds projects between $100,000 and $400,000.

Step 1: Review SPF Reference Documents

Make sure your project fits the scope of the SPF! Becoming familiar with the following documents will help ensure a successful application:

Next Steps

The Big Wave Stream accepts pre-applications on the 1st October, 1st February, and 1st June of each academic year.

SPF Staff will contact you within the two weeks following the submission of your document to provide you with feedback. All pre-application forms will be reviewed by the Governance Council shortly after the scheduled deadline. 

The response time for Big Wave applications depends on how efficiently you complete Stage 2 of the Big Wave application process after receiving the Governance Council's initial feedback.
