A key component of effective leadership (and expression of Emotional Intelligence) is Listening and Effective Communication. Our capacity to build a bridge with diverse others hinges on our ability to seek to understand and to be understood.
In this workshop, participants will:
- Gain insight into their listening, interaction, and behavioural styles, and associated impact on others.
- Know how to identify and overcome listening barriers, reduce conflict and improve performance in the workplace.
- Know when to employ various communication styles to best address the needs at hand (e.g. extracting factual information, exploring ideas, etc.).
- Improve interactions with stakeholders through a renewed confidence in communication strategies.
